Location was absolutely stunning, close to everything we needed and the view of the historic walls was mind-blowing. The apartment itself was super comfortable, with a lovely seating area out back to chill and relax. The nearby pub, The Gillygate, was a jaw-dropping bonus for those who enjoy a few drinks. We definitely want to return and will recommend to friends!

The apartment is so cozy, with a separate bedroom and a comfy seating area. I loved lounging in the living room - it felt like home! Plus, having a hairdryer in the bathroom was a lifesaver for me.
Personally, I found the lack of a kitchen in the apartment a bit disappointing. But hey, some people might still enjoy the tea/coffee maker and microwave provided.

our recent stay in york at the cottage by the walls was exceptional. the location was superb, just a short stroll to the york minster and train station. the apartment was spacious, clean, and quiet, providing a relaxing haven. we even had a lovely terrace overlooking a beautiful garden.
Parking information was lacking.

Fabulous location with beautiful garden. Spacious and comfortable property. Excellent facilities. Close to city center but feels rural. Quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bed. Good shops and restaurants nearby. Easy access to train station and public transportation.
Felt really comfortable, no complaints at all.
